One of the wierdest things ever... getting properly dunked in a bubbling mud volcano! Not the best of weather to follow though... especially not while sitting in our broken down bus!

Islas de Rosario boat cruise

Playa blanca. An afternoon on the beach fighting off hawkers! Stunning though.



A visit to the Oceanarium was a real highlight. Sharks, dolphins, more fish and turtles than you could imagine.




It would probably have been more apt to call it the party boat rather than a relaxing cruise aroundthe beautiful bays of Rosario. We managed to pick a full on bank holiday weekend, with load of Colombians on holidays. Great, very unexpected fun!

Shopping in Cartagena.

Not quite the usual tourist souveniers! A second hand Allende book, some Bobby pins, 3 screws for our fading camera, a ´Cars´purse for (groen up) Edel, an Umbrella to fight the 35 degree heat, and a hair tie! What a day!

Cartagena... stunning, and great to get to stop for a couple of days!
